We are delighted that one of the UK’s most respected two Michelin starred chefs Michael Wignall will join us for an Extraordinary Guest Chef’s Night this springtime.
Michael has won Michelin Stars in every kitchen he has headed since being awarded his first star in 1993 at the Old Beams Restaurant in Staffordshire. His biggest achievement came at the Latymer Restaurant at Pennyhill Park, where he took the restaurant to 5 AA Rosettes in 2011, one of only eight restaurants in the UK to have received this accolade. The AA said Michael Wignall’s food had reached ‘the ultimate level with a complex cooking style delivered with immaculate precision.’ In 2012, the Latymer was awarded two Michelin Stars. In January this year, Michael joined Gidleigh Park, in Devon, where he continues to impress diners with his incredible cuisine. Michael was awarded two Michelin Stars at Gidleigh Park just 9 months after taking the reins.
