Our kitchen garden provides a harvest of delicious home-grown produce every year. This year, we are proud to say it will produce over 70 varieties of vegetables, summer fruits and herbs for our restaurant.
As our head chef firmly believes – the quality of the food we serve comes from the freshness of its ingredients; our kitchen garden gives us the perfect opportunity to pick and serve delicious fresh food to you within hours.
It is also reassuring that Jerry our Head Gardener and his team manage the soil here at Grove organically. We hope you agree that organic produce is always best.
The ‘lost garden’
The Royal Commission on the Ancient and Historical Monuments of Wales' have confirmed from aerial archaeological photographs that the Grove kitchen garden is a 'lost' garden that pre-dates the existing Georgian walled garden. We like to think that the new kitchen garden restores the ground to its previous use during the 17th century.
