After many years of restoration work, this walled garden originally built in the 17th century is now complete, offering a perfect place for guests to take leisurely strolls throughout the day.
The north side of the garden will soon be transformed into a culinary herb garden surrounded by cut flowers with a network of gravel paths to create a formal space to explore. Once completed our chefs and bar team will be able to harvest a variety of mints, chamomile, bronze and green fennel, lemon thyme, sage, angelica, lemon verbena, marjoram, oregano, garlic chives, dill, chervil, lovage, parsley and tarragon to name but a few.
Landscaping work to the south side of the walled garden is also planned for 2016. This work will create a quiet space to relax, whether it’s to sit and read a book, lie in the sun or even enjoy a luxury picnic hamper on the lawn.
