Accessibility

At Grove of Narberth we are passionate about ensuring that everyone can use and enjoy our facilities. The always aim for the highest standards of personal service and expect all our staff to anticipate and meet guests’ needs, whatever they may be. If we need to adjust to meet a guests requirements then we aim to do that in a discrete manner.

We trust that our guests understand that not all parts of these historic buildings which date back to the 15th century can be completely accessible. However, during its restoration and remodelling, every care was taken to ensure good access for all whilst protecting the character of this special place.

The information is kept up to date but as preferences always change we would appreciate your feedback to help us continue to be as accessible as possible. Our staff are all aware of these issues and are happy to discuss at all times.

Prior to your arrival

Enquiries and reservations may be made online, by phone or by email. If you do have any accessibility requirements we would be happy to advise you on the best accommodation to suit your needs.

Should you require a taxi to the hotel from the local train stations we use a reliable local company on a regular basis and we would be delighted to book them on your behalf. They do have vehicles suitable for wheelchair users if required.

Flooring

Please bear in mind that due to the age of the hotel, floor levels do vary slightly and the type of floor covering is a mixture of flagstones, wooden flooring, carpet and rugs. Where floors are polished we endeavour to use a non-slip polish to minimise the risk of slips, trips and falls. However, please be aware of possible changes in floor levels and textures as you walk around our hotel and premises.

Lighting

The hotel corridors and public areas are well lit.

If you are arriving after dark then please bear in mind that, in keeping with the hotel surroundings and to keep guests disturbances to a minimum, the outside lighting is kept minimal. Porters and Duty Managers can assist you with torches upon request.

Assistance

Our reputation for outstanding customer service means that our Duty Managers and porters are able to help with accessibility between buildings and rooms and we aim to ensure that nothing is too much trouble.
