Biomass makes Grove more energy efficient

Our new 199KW Biomass Boiler goes 'live'. The new boiler delivers substantial energy efficiencies to The Grove.  Together with our 14KW of solar panels, 8 acres of tree planting, reed beds, water treatment plant and recycling programme already in place, represents a comprehensive set of initatives to boast our Green Tourism credentials.  October 2014     

Double celebration at Pembrokeshire Toruism Awards

Neil and Zoe were delighted that The Grove collected the 'Best Accommodation' Award at the Pembrokeshire Tourism Awards 2014.  The night was a double celebration with Will and Kamila from our sister restaurant 'Coast - Saundersfoot' collecting the 'Best Eating Out Experience' Award.  A great night!  October 2014

Grove Wins AA Wine Award for Wales 2014/15

We are delighted to announce that we have been awarded the AA Wine Award for Wales. This is an outstanding achievement for our Head Sommelier Michal Dumny and was recently collected along with our 3 AA Rosettes at the Annual AA Hospitality Awards, The Grosvenor House, London.  September 2014

Sister 'Beach Side' Restaurant Opens

We are delighted to announce that we have opened a brand 'new' beach side restaurant called Coast at Coppet Hall Beach near Saundersfoot, just 5 miles from The Grove.  Further we are very excited that Will Holland will be our Head Chef who previously worked at the renowned La Becasse Restaurant in Ludlow.  April 2014

AA Awards the Restaurant 3 Prestigous Rosettes

We are delighted to announce that the AA have awarded The Grove Narberth 3 AA Rosettes for the first time. This is an outstanding achievement by Duncan Barham, our Head Chef, his hardworking kitchen brigade and the front of house restaurant team.  January 2014

'Pop Up' Raises over £8000 for Ty Hafan

Team are delighted with over £8000 raised for Ty Hafan Children's Hospice at this years Chefs Night Out 'Pop Up' here at The Grove in October. Big thank you to all of those who supported the night but also to the Welsh Michelin starred chefs Richard Davies and James Sommerin for giving up time in their busy schedules to support this fantastic Welsh charity. Our Dream Team

We welcome Restaurant Manager, Bruno Asselin, previously at The Latymer, who brings 25 years experience much of which has been at 2 Michelin, 5 Rosette establishments.  Michal Dumny, our Head Sommelier joins us from Michelin starred Lucknum Park.  August 2013

The Grove joins Pride of Britain Hotels

The Grove has joined the Pride of Britain Hotels collection of 44 of the finest, independently owned hotels in the UK. The business has come a long way in a short time and this in some way acknowledgement to all the hard work put in by the team over the years. September 2012

 

New Wing delivered in 32 weeks.

The huge levels of commitment and goodwill of our team of local craftsmen meant we were able to deliver this complex project in just 32 weeks. The new building which incorporates many of the period features of the original building includes 8 luxurious ensuite bedrooms and suites, 3 restaurant rooms, a lounge bar, guest bathrooms, a large commercial kitchen, offices, laundry and lots of much needed storage. August 2012

Wine List acknowledgment for the Grove

Grove's Wine List has been acknowledged by the AA who listed the Grove as having a 'Notable Wine List'.  More recently, the Grove was presented a Special Commendation Award as 'Best Newcomer' at the Champagne Taittinger Awards.   November 2011
